Colourful Shelties :D:D

Yes... for almost 2 years now I really fell in love with shelties ^_^

I had loved Collies since I had a picture a 'Barrow load of collie puppies' on my wall at least 1 decade ago :D

Anyway~ time for u guys to learn something... Shelties come in different colours :)
There are three main variations:
1) Stable
2) Tri Colour
3) Blue Merle

For all you scientists out there, Stable is the dominant gene (S) and Tris (t) and Blues (b) are recessive...
EG:
Golden stable = SS
Shaded Stable = St
Tricolour = tt
Blue Merle = tb
Stable Merle = Sb

I forgot how you get a Bi-blue :P they are black and white n look like border collies ^^ but i know sometimes u can get white shelties (bb) effect of the double merle gene... but! they are likely to be blind or deaf :(
There are also other colours such as Colour headed white shelties and Bridle coloured shelties.. :P
weird things they do to dogs these days...
