we drove the remaining 2-3 hrs to wellington^^

on the way we stopped by this town called 'Bulls' and yes, they were proud of their town. Everywhere we turned we saw everything named had a play on the word 'bulls'
for example:

Name of their medical centre: cure a bull Posted by Picasa

The local dress maker: tizzies of bulls Posted by Picasa

The local pub: rat hole bulls Posted by Picasa

Public rubbishbins: Respons-a-bull Posted by Picasa

Local computer shop: compute-a-bull Posted by Picasa

You cannot guess what the Police station is called! ... Consti-bull!!!
Hilarious!

After we arrived in Wellington, we dropped Felix off to work n we (me mum n dad) mucked around at the Tepapa Museaum!

Parking was so expensive in the city! also there were lots n lots of campavans with red flags n 'Lions' written on their windows in the parking lots. This was because the test match between the all blacks n the Lions is going to be held in Wellington over the weekend!

We didnt know where to go so we decided to muck around at New World~ yippe !~ free parking!

Later we went to the waterfront and then up Victoria peak to overlook the city of Wellington.

That night we went to a seafood resturant on the water front! the view was nice~ but i think im getting sick of european foods... I want chinese food!!!

That night we thought we would b smart n just rock up to a motel and expect them to have space. BUT ofcoz everything was booked out (due to the rugby match!) we drove everywhere looking for accomodation! by this rate we were driving at least 3-4 hrs away from the city but still no accomodation! We ended up at a motel at byrons beach!

Day Three - Saturday

The morning was perfect, it was a perfect sunny day! we visited the beach as we drove out. It was a large surfishie beach. We met a very very sweet looking jack russel cross foxie terrier :) and a couple of ppl horseriding on the beach!

we decided to head up back to Auckland n on the way we pass by the Tongiriro national park. We took a walk down to Taiwai falls. They apparently filmed Lord of the Rings here~
