Does the social world have power to change who we are?
In the performance of our actions are we seeking our identities?
Yes we live in a world where our identity is constructed through our actions and performance ... e.g. drag queens dress like women so they can 'be' women.. girls dress up so they are performing their identity as women... judges play thier role by wearing wigs... this is the power of performance in our society~
We build the preference structure of where we want to be in the world.. reflected by the common proverb... 'Walk the walk, talk the talk' ... will you learn to love the destiny you are placed in... or will you seek to change your own?
The best change is subconscience... by realising the world you are in has all these social impositions ... you are already on your way to be incharge of your identity :)
